ONE DAY INTENSIVE COURSE ON ARABIC GRAMMAR
ONE DAY INTENSIVE ARABIC GRAMMAR COURSE FOR SISTERS.
Tuesday 15th March 9:30am to 2:45pm
· Have you learnt the rules of grammar but find you cannot organise them in your head well enough to apply them?
· Do you have minimal Arabic language skills and wish to refine your command of Arabic grammar?
· Do you feel you need to revise the grammar you have learnt so you can understand them better and manage tarkeeb (grammatical analysis) and recite Arabic without tashkeel ?
The one day intensive in Arabic grammar will cover all the rules of Arabic grammar in Book 1 of Dr V Abdurrahim’s Madina Arabic course and Arabic Tutor Book 1. Students will learn through the use of simplified explanations void of unnecessary terminology and through the use of Power point presentations and slides, diagrams, worksheets, exercises which will simplify the basic rules of Arabic grammar.
Students will have the opportunity to test themselves throughout the class and will benefit from worksheets with answers that will handed out to students at the end of the class.
This one day intensive will be followed by five more one day intensives over the period of the next year. The next two sessions will cover book 2 and the 4th, 5th and 6th sessions will cover book 3. Upon the completion of all six one day sessions, students will become proficient in Arabic grammar and should have no problem deciphering Arabic sentences of any kind and will have gained a sound grasp of Arabic to be able to study the Quran, hadith and further books of Islamic study.
